My early 1960s Abu Ambassadeur 6000 mounted on 1960s period Garcia rod 2528T. The reel was an antique store find. I cleaned , oiled , and replaced some minor parts. Ready to go fishing !

It’s definitely a good feature to look for and again will be a standard feature in most reels though the quality of the line alarm system will vary greatly in cheaper reels

Water Type__Saltwater

Model:C3-7000

Light sticky grease for Main/Pinion gears on finesse / light spinning reels, baitcasters, and jigging reels
